OUR STORY
Welcome to Fern Valley Farm and Greenhouse. We discovered our land in scenic Port Murray NJ in 2000. Our undeveloped property was abundant with many species of flowers and plants. We fell in love with the wild ferns that bordered our babbling stream and we saw our vision for the first time. We built our log home here and our dream of raising a family and owning and operating a self-sustainable farm became a reality.
Always wanting to be a farmer, Michael graduated from Doylestown University with a degree in Agronomy Landscape and started his Landscape Design business in 1985. Theresa graduated from Union County College and is a dental hygienist. We are so proud of our three daughters Alexa, Amanda, and Ariana. They each contribute their creative talents, artistry, hard work and dedication to our family business.
Together we envisioned growing our own natural produce and herbs, raise hormone-free chickens and grass-fed beef. Now we are on a mission to share our passion and bounty with our community.
Please come visit us! Our farm and market features indoor plants, unique pots and containers, herbs, and local honey. Our greenhouse features gorgeous, colorful annual flowers, lush hanging plants, and perennials.
